Comparative Analysis of Business Mechanisms in the USA and Canada A Sectoral Perspective

The other clear way that the US is ahead of Canada is in job creation. Although the US has a bigger economy and more people, this might not be a fair comparison. But it's not just about numbers. The United States is a better place to do business. There are more chances. The fact that the US has a higher job rate makes this very clear.

Wages would be another area

The US and Canadian economies are tied, but not their money. Canada's prices are about 25% higher than those in the US because the loonie is 25% weaker than the USD and many goods are imported from the US. The prices of goods in Canada go up to match the prices in the US. Even though the Loonie has gone down, Canadian wages have not gone up. Trade with the US is a big part of this economy, and the low Loonie is great for businesses that do business with the US. But it's not so great for Canadians. Do you remember when the Canadian dollar was equal to the US dollar before and during the recession? At that time, everyone said that Canadians were living the American dream. Canada's standard of living went up for the first time ever! After many years of the Loonie falling in value, Canadians have about 20% more debt than Americans, making them the most indebted country in the 35 OECD countries.

The US retirees are doing better than the Canadians. In a strange way, US social security pays a lot more when you leave. In the U.S., 401(k)s and IRAs let you save a lot more during your working years than RRSPs. And you can get a lot more tax breaks on top of the ones that are already there. A lot of false information is spread in Canada about the US Medicare system for seniors. In its purest form, it's socialized care. Even though Americans have to pay about $170 a month for extra insurance, they get a lot more from social security in retirement than Canadians do, so they still come out ahead, even though they have to pay for extra insurance. In other areas... Well, progress in technology... What's the deal with Canada not having a Tesla? What about making things in general? Why doesn't Canada make more things? Why do people in Canada shop at Bed Bath and Beyond.

The US retirees are doing better than the Canadians

That's the first thing that came to mind. America's employer-provided system makes it hard for people to start their own businesses, so Canada is ahead in healthcare for reasons that aren't clear. Canada's single-payer system means that people can quit their jobs and start their own small businesses without worrying about losing their health insurance. Americans are like corporate slaves when it comes to their "jobs" and the health insurance their employers provide. The US has a lot of big companies like Panera Bread and Chipotle because of this. Canada has a lot of cool small businesses because of this too. Canada is ahead when it comes to having less gun crime. That's a big one. For the Canadians, I had to add these! This is a great place! I just believe that things would be a lot better if Canadians stopped being so anti-American and were willing to change.People in Canada live longer and fewer babies die before they're one year old. As someone with MS, I'm glad I don't live in a shithole where my medical bills would put me out of business. There have been mass killings, but not every month. They happen about once every 20 years. I wouldn't say that Canadian politicians are very honest, but they aren't bought and sold like every US politician, from the sheriff to the president, and they don't trade on information they hear in parliament. America is a third-world country where a lot of people are rich.Part of the reason for this is that Canadians are generally nicer and speak more quietly and slowly than Americans. A Canadian friend once told me, "I can tell whenever you've been down to see your family in the States." I have family in the United States. "Every time you come back, you talk faster and louder." Canada is easier on the ears.

As someone who moved to Canada from the US

I appreciate that our politics aren't very partisan, that most people don't think religion should play a role in politics, that hate speech is against the law, that women can choose whether to have an abortion or not, that we don't have the death penalty (so we never put innocent people to death), that no one has to beg on the streets for money for a doctor (like I did in Philadelphia), and that we don't repeatedly invade other countries. All of these things make life less stressful, and the fun multicultural events and restaurants are only added to that.Going to a walk-in center or hospital isn't always easy because you have to wait for hours, which is awful. Most of the time, you won't have to wait if you're really sick. That would be better than being seen right away and being left with a huge bill any day. You need to take charge of your own health care. You need to learn how our health care system works. Once you do that, it can be very useful.
